 An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our outstanding special school.  We are looking to appoint an experienced, dedicated and professional Class Teachers with experience of SEN who can inspire students with a range of moderate learning difficulties to teach students across all key stages.

As we continually adapt our curriculum to meet the needs of our pupils there is an expectation that Teachers are able to transfer their skills and adapt their teaching practice accordingly.  Interested professionals are encouraged to contact or visit Belmont in advance of application.

Belmont school is seeking to recruit enthusiastic and energetic Learning Support Workers.  The post-holders will need to be flexible and able to work confidently, when required, across Key Stages and also on an independent basis. Please indicate in your application your areas of expertise.

The post is 32½ hrs/wk term-time only.  The hours of work are 8.30am to 3.05pm Monday, Tuesday and Friday; 8.30am to 3.40pm on alternate Wednesdays and 8.30am to 4.10pm Thursday (which takes into account a weekly staff meeting after school of approximately 1 hour, currently Thursdays).  You will be entitled to 25 minutes lunch break.

The salary for these positions is Grade 6 SCP 15-20 (£22,911.00 – £25,295 pa pro rata).

Belmont school is seeking to recruit Cover Supervisor/HLTA’s.  The post-holders will carry out curriculum tasks set by the teacher and supervise groups of pupils to ensure they carry out the work tasks set by the teacher with designated responsibility.  They will need to be flexible and be able to work confidently, when required, across all Key Stages and also on an independent basis.
